Quick answers to the questions we hear most from customers and partners.
Skyworth Energy Storage (Shenzhen Skyworth Energy Storage Technology Co., Ltd.) is the energy storage arm of Skyworth Group. We provide energy storage products and energy management services for commercial, industrial, and residential customers, covering C&I energy storage, residential energy storage, portable power, and the SUPEREARN integrated energy management system.
Skyworth Energy Storage is the energy storage business entity under Skyworth Group. Founded in 1988, Skyworth Group is a globally competitive smart appliance and information technology enterprise. The energy storage business leverages the group's manufacturing, supply chain, and brand heritage to focus on green energy solutions.
Our product lines include Commercial & Industrial energy storage (liquid-cooled all-in-one cabinets, PV+ESS all-in-one units, container systems), Residential energy storage (low-voltage and high-voltage stackable batteries, hybrid inverter all-in-one units, balcony PV+ESS systems), Portable power (outdoor power stations, solar panels, mobile power banks, GaN chargers), and the SUPEREARN integrated energy management system for C&I applications.
Residential energy storage is designed for homes, typically from a few kWh to tens of kWh, paired with rooftop solar for self-consumption and backup. Commercial & Industrial storage serves factories, parks, and commercial complexes, ranging from tens of kWh to MWh-scale, supporting peak shaving and demand management. Portable storage ranges from hundreds of Wh to a few kWh, designed for outdoor and mobile use without installation.
Capacity selection depends on your load profile, solar capacity, desired backup duration, and budget. Residential users should consider daily consumption and critical load power; C&I users should evaluate transformer capacity, time-of-use tariffs, and production schedules. We recommend contacting our team for a site survey and customised system design by our engineers.
Yes. Skyworth ESS products support integrated PV+ESS operation. Residential and C&I systems can connect to PV inverters for self-consumption, while our PV+ESS all-in-one units use a DC-coupled architecture where PV directly charges the battery, reducing conversion losses. The system dynamically adjusts charge/discharge strategy based on solar yield and load to maximise green energy self-consumption.
Skyworth ESS products support both on-grid and off-grid modes, with the ability to switch between them. On-grid mode supports peak shaving, self-consumption, and demand management. Off-grid mode is suitable for areas without grid access or as emergency backup, with millisecond-level transfer for critical loads during grid outages.
Residential systems require a flat installation surface, adequate ventilation, and compliant electrical connections. C&I systems require site planning, transformer capacity assessment, grid connection approval, and fire safety clearances. Our engineers conduct a site survey before delivering a turnkey installation plan, with full-service support end-to-end.
Yes. Residential outdoor battery models and most C&I products feature IP65 or higher protection with anti-corrosion and wide-temperature operation, suitable for outdoor environments. Specific protection ratings and operating temperature ranges are documented in each product manual. Installation must follow the manufacturer's guidelines.
Keep the system powered on and avoid long periods of inactivity. Monitor status via the app or cloud platform, do not block ventilation openings, keep flammable materials away from the equipment, and follow the operating environment requirements in the product manual. Contact our after-sales team for any abnormal alerts — do not disassemble the system yourself.
Skyworth ESS products use lithium iron phosphate (LFP) cells. Residential and C&I products are designed for a service life of 10+ years, with cycle life typically exceeding 6,000 cycles. Actual lifespan depends on operating environment, depth of discharge, and usage strategy. Following manufacturer guidelines extends system life.
Our products use LFP cells which have high thermal stability. The system-level BMS (Battery Management System) monitors voltage, temperature, and current in real time. C&I products feature PACK-level and cabinet-level dual fire suppression, explosion relief valves, and pressure relief windows. Outdoor residential products carry IP65 protection with active heating, covering over-voltage, over-current, short-circuit, and over-temperature protection.
Yes. Although daily operation is automated, we recommend periodic professional inspections including enclosure cleaning, electrical connection checks, operating data review, and sensor calibration. Skyworth ESS provides 24/7 remote monitoring and scheduled on-site maintenance, with frequency specified in the service contract.
We provide end-to-end service including pre-sales consulting, system design, installation and commissioning, grid connection, and O&M monitoring. After-sales covers 24/7 online response, scheduled inspections, fault handling, spare parts supply, and system upgrades. Warranty periods vary by product line — refer to the product manual and service contract for specifics.
